Welcome to Walloon Sailors Inc.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit Sailing School on beautiful Walloon Lake in Michigan. Located on the shore of Walloon in front of the Walloon Lake Country Club, the School is a perfect place to learn how to sail. The Club is located on Bear River Road, which exits Route 131 to the West about 5 miles south of Petoskey.
The Walloon Sailor’s season begins June 18, 2012 and continues until August 10, 2012. Classes begin at 10 am and end around 12:30 every Monday through Friday. Students may register for class at the Sailor’s shed by the lake, directly down the hill from the country club.
The cost for lessons is $25 per day, or $100 for a week. Lessons are payable by cash, check, or Country Club Charge upon registration. For sailors wishing to participate in the races on Wednesday and/or Friday, there is an extra charge of $10 for each day of racing. The School accepts sailors age seven and above. Please bring your own life vest to each lesson.
